Even now and even amongst us, a year in, there is still a marked tendency to underestimate the danger. We are vulnerable to efforts to distract us with each shiny new abomination, magpie-like. It's worth taking a moment to remember who it is we are dealing with here. Whatever your particular attachment to different strands of this shambles, the following facts are well established:
SARS COV 2 came from a lab.
Covid 19 is not, and never has been, a pandemic.
There are a number of early treatments that work like a charm.
Governments have prevented their own citizens from receiving these treatments.
A large number of people have died, as a result.
Instead, they have forced 'vaccines' on the trusting and compliant.
They are not 'vaccines'.
They are not legitimately authorised.
At least some of these injections are killing large numbers of people in short order.
Governments are hell bent on making us all take them.
In any normal world, when governments have been responsible for killing large numbers of people, firstly by preventing early treatment and then by coercing them into taking a toxin, there is abhorrence and accountability. One of the lessons of this past two years is that consequences for the perpetrators of this abomination are not in evidence. Another might be the observation that when every country moves in lock-step, maintaining a perspective on wrongdoing becomes problematic for most people. There is no control group.
Working out how many people could have been saved from a death from Covid is impossible, for the simple reason that we can't rely on any of the figures. We know that isolated countries have redone their initial calculations in various ways. Someone in Italy had a moment of honesty and told us all that the actual number of people who had died of Covid alone was roughly 3% of the total previously asserted; or 3,783 instead of 130,468.(1) Naturally, this revelation was memory-holed as swiftly as possible. That sort of 'misinformation' could lead to 'vaccine hesitancy'. And, of course, if Covid was the reason that a dying person dies six months before their time, then it is asinine to write off a causal relationship. There is still an effect.
Unfortunately, we can't even be certain of this prognosis, as we don't know how many of these deaths actually featured Covid at all. Recent revelations about the unreliability of the PCR test (recently acknowledged, I should say – known from the beginning) and the fact that deaths could be certified without even a cursory examination of the deceased, plus the incentives on offer (in the US and almost certainly elsewhere) if a patient can be declared to be of the Covid variety, all contribute towards a distorted picture.(2)(3)(4)
Hospitals are complicit – administrators are going for the riches on offer, because it's not about the patient, it's about the profit. The free market influence is endemic.
In this instance, it's comes down to medical codes. Hospitals are supposed to swab patients on arrival. It's almost as if you can't avoid the bonuses:
“Medical codes are used to describe diagnoses and treatments, determine costs, and reimbursements, and relate one disease or drug to another.”(5)
$13,000 to admit a Covid patient, another $39,000 to ventilate them. What could possibly go wrong? So, we cannot be completely sure of how many victims our various governments are responsible for. Let's look at it from a dry, legal perspective by way of allegory, just to keep things interesting. What would happen to the fire department if they set a fire in a building which they knew was occupied, then refused to use water to douse the flames and then, eventually, pumped kerosene onto the conflagration instead, resulting in massive loss of life? Would we think them culpable? And can anybody tell me how what governments have done is any different?
The reason we don't think like that? Conditioning, perhaps. A difficult-to-shake deference to authority, no matter what? A natural urge to recoil from a reality so disturbing that we can't accept it without re-calibrating our entire belief system? All of the above, I suspect. But I don't believe that invalidates the analogy. Perhaps it's only a subset of humanity that has the caste of mind necessary to confront truths like these.
Enemies in the camp
In the meantime, the recent unraveling continues. In schizophrenic fashion, SCOTUS blocked President Brandon's 'vaccine' mandates for private businesses, while retaining them for healthcare professionals.(6) In this particular, the US was only catching up with the charlatans masquerading as conservatives in the UK, who actually passed legislation to that effect. Next up was the CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, who seems to have been covertly injected with a long acting truth serum. This time she was keen to inform us that over 75% of the people who allegedly died of Covid had at least four co-morbidities.(7) I don't know about you, but I thought that meant that these persons had at least co-mingled diseases, each of which was potentially fatal to the individual patient. Perhaps diabetes, heart disease, cancer and pneumonia; which, I'll admit, would be pretty unfortunate.
That's not quite where it's at, though, as the word 'co-morbidities' has a somewhat broader meaning. High blood pressure and obesity also feature, for instance, and neither one of those is immediately life-threatening. It seems that reduced immune function and the likelihood of a spell in hospital (where one may pick up an extra co-morbidity or two to complete the set) are the real risk factors. But these patients are not necessarily otherwise in danger of dropping off the perch within hours. So, I'm not sure that we should be mentally brushing these deaths aside as inevitable, albeit perhaps a little earlier than they would have occurred otherwise. It does, however, once again emphasize the blindingly obvious point that it was the vulnerable that should have been protected from the start.
However, even this information doesn't tell the whole story. It turns out that two thirds of the deaths attributed to Covid in the US had at least six co-morbidities, not a measly four.(8) They were also pretty elderly. And the sledgehammer was being taken to the narrative by ever more unlikely characters; even Albert Bourla, CEO of Pfizer and previously in the front rank of cheerleaders for 'vaccines' (unsurprisingly), had this to say:
“Two doses of the vaccine offers very limited protection, if any. 3 doses with a booster offer reasonable protection against hospitalization and deaths. Less protection against infection.”(9)
Say what? That ought to be a remarkable statement. There should be a laundry list of questions, the first of which might be “How come?”, shortly followed by “Isn't that what clinical trials are for?”. There are only two primary possibilities; either the company are incompetent or they were lying, both when they told us it was going to work and then when they assured us that it was, in fact, working. And yet, it's somehow unsurprising that nobody is taking him to task. Conditioning, again. We are so inured to the nonsense, the fact that none of this seems to make sense doesn't matter. It's coming so thick and fast that there isn't an opportunity to hold the line and say enough is enough, to take a time-out to regain our bearings. And so we move past things that we should be addressing and people like Bourla benefit.
Amazingly, another corporate whore also got in on the act. The Wall Street Journal, previously a staunch defender of whatever drivel issued forth from Brandon, Fauci et al had a sudden attack of common sense:
“It would be irrational, legally indefensible and contrary to the public interest for government to mandate vaccines absent any evidence that the vaccines are effective in stopping the spread of the pathogen they target. Yet that’s exactly what’s happening here.”(10)
They were focusing on the rise of Omicron, said to make up 95% of current Covid 'cases'. Naturally, the analysis majored on the practical side of matters, rather than addressing subjects such as the fact that an experimental medication authorised for emergency use cannot be mandated in any circumstances or that EUAs for the 'vaccines' can't legally be issued as they aren't vaccines. Nonetheless, the article was an improvement on most Big Media efforts inasmuch as it contained one or two facts and it was yet another curious departure from the narrative.
In the meantime, the Brandon regime was demonstrating its familiar level of respect for the judiciary by mandating that 'unvaccinated' federal workers be tested every week at the very moment that the Supreme Court was pondering judgement on the legality of said mandates.(11) And while the court eventually came down on the administration's side on that score due to the now familiar capitulation of 'conservative' Justices, they blocked another order forcing private companies with over 100 employees to mandate vaccinations.(12) Another kick in the lower stomach area.
Across the pond, the Daily Mail was continuing its recent habit of doing some actual reporting (although the rest of the article was wall to wall lies) and informed its expectant readership that the ever reliable 'experts' were now estimating that Omicron was less deadly than the seasonal flu.(13) Joining the blizzard of narrative refutation was the European Medicines Agency (EMA), who last month authorised boosters every three months, but now warned us that frequent booster shots could adversely affect our immune systems.(14) The WHO then added to the cacophony by echoing that sentiment. Bourla, the EMA and WHO had all fronted up within 48 hours of each other.
It feels a little like the initial stage of a tsunami – standing on the beach watching the tide of bullshit disappear at a rate of knots. I have the feeling that the tidal wave that inexorably follows will coat us with yet more of the same effluence. Unless, of course, the elites continue with the current policy of attempting to bluff the population with a king high, face up. In which case, they will almost certainly fail, as the soft middle will be unable to ignore the fallacy and even the legacy media will feel compelled to temporarily suspend their backing for the system, so that they may gather the few remaining shreds of their credibility around them.
We are accustomed to seeing different regimes proceed with a smörgåsbord of measures at various speeds and it's long been obvious that some have much more enthusiasm for the project than others. Perhaps they think that because they have the momentum in places like Israel, Australia and Canada, they can spread this totalitarianism to other countries in the manner of a creeping bombardment.
And why are they building camps if the narrative is imploding on Covid?Could these camps be for a new pandemic or could it be for so called 'domestic terrorists' who spread misinformation and resist? After all, any rhetoric about resistance can be referred to as 'extreme', if it's those that are to be resisted that are making the rules. But how are they going to fill them with the 'unvaccinated' if sentiment has moved against the notion that the recalcitrant are a threat to the rest of the population? It's possible that they will try anyway, either to appeal to their base of zealots, or because they are so out of touch that they think that they can pull it off. That's not to say that they might not get away with it presently in some countries, but the overall direction of travel is not favorable. Canada and Australia don't yet have a Chinese style internet firewall, so news from America about the withdrawal of PCR tests and the mildness of Omicron will still seep through, which will encourage the resistance. And in order for the narrative to thrive, all dissent and alternative viewpoints must be crushed.
Lefties and Righties
Increasingly, the chasm between the lefties and the rest is defined by personality traits. In short, the Democrats (and this will, I suspect, translate to wherever you find yourself) are quite okay with all sorts of draconian measures in order to force citizens to comply, as they themselves already have. In fact, 29% of them would support taking children away from parents who are 'unvaccinated'. Let that sink in for a moment. They also find favor with the idea of fining those that refuse the 'vaccine' (55%, compared to 19% of Republicans), with home confinement (59% to 21%) and 48% of them also support fines or jail time for those that challenge the government's view of 'vaccines' on social media.(15) If nothing else, it shows how successful the government's propaganda has been; people tend to seek control over their environment when they are fearful. Of course, it could be that these people are also self righteous busybodies who want to enforce their will on those who haven't done what they were told to do – in which case, it would have little to do with fear and more to do with vindictiveness.
Australia
I appreciate that Australia has been a regular stop off on my whistle stop tour of all things Covid, but it really deserves its own section this week. In true unhinged, out of touch, totalitarian fashion, the Aussies are spiraling further downwards in their closed loop system. Not content with locking the 'unvaccinated' down completely – not even allowing them to go to work or exercise outdoors (16)- in the Northern Territory, or requiring citizens returning from abroad to quarantine for 14 days despite returning six negative tests (17) they thought they'd better make sure that we all know how completely barking they are by going to war with Novak Djokovic, who has found himself the current choice of political football for the comrades Down Under.
The Joker purportedly fulfilled all the criteria for entry to the country, but found himself in a detention facility nonetheless. Apparently, he tested positive for Covid on 16th December, despite having already suffered a bout of it the previous year; sounds an awful lot like a false positive, at a remarkably convenient time. He didn't help himself by failing to quarantine, but he didn't have any symptoms and what he did in Serbia is a matter for them, not the Australians. At first, he won his appeal to recover his visa and then, entirely predictably, the federal government cancelled it again:
"Today I exercised my power... to cancel the visa held by Mr Novak Djokovic on health and good order grounds, on the basis that it was in the public interest to do so," Immigration Minister Alex Hawke said in a statement.(18)
The minister won't be required to explain his rationale, of course. What health grounds? Djokovic has had Covid, so he's immune now. Ninety seven of the top 100 men's players are 'vaccinated' and at more risk of spreading infection than he is. But that didn't stop the Aussies deporting him and banning him from receiving a visa for three years.(19) By dragging the sorry saga on for ten days or so, the government delayed lancing the boil in a timely fashion and deservedly suffered the consequences.
There hasn't been the slightest attempt to dwell on any actual risk posed by Djokovic. The entire saga has been about rules and compliance, not the reasons for those rules. It's all about control, bloody in tooth and claw. Other tennis players have weighed in, again focusing on their belief that the Joker should get 'vaccinated' like them, and the media has done its best, once again, to mislead. Under the headline Novak Djokovic: World number one 'playing by his own rules' – Tsitsipas (the inference of which is clearly critical), we find the following comments instead:
"For sure, he's been playing by his own rules and has been doing what not many players had the guts to do...no-one really thought they could come to Australia unvaccinated and not having to follow the protocols... it takes a lot of daring to do and putting the Grand Slam at risk, which I don't think many players would do.” (20)
Since when has one person admiring another's nerve and guts been deemed a criticism? Noticeably absent, one more time, is any reference to danger or disease. And to add insult to injury, the virtuous Nadal then tests positive for Covid but, because he's been a good boy and not only got the jab but snarked at Djokovic too, he is allowed to stay and compete.(21) To cap it all, the full dystopian circle is complete when the government references the complaints of the people who have 'made many sacrifices' and are now vexed that a ludicrous rule isn't being enforced; by the government. Orwellian double-speak is ten a penny in Oz; it's not like the people had any choice in making sacrifices, as the government forced them to. But no matter; any excuse will do when nobody is holding you to account. It was also noticeable how many players and officials indulged themselves with the tried and tested, formulaic response – you know, the one about nobody coming out of it well, 'it's a bad day for tennis' etc etc. The fact that it was the Serb in the cross-hairs probably didn't aid rational responses, as he's always been a divisive figure. But you don't have to like someone to stick up for them. I think the fact that virtually all the players had succumbed to the jab probably tells us all we need to know.
And poor old Novak will continue to be a target. As it stands, he won't be playing in the French Open (22) or the US Open, either. He may be allowed to compete at Wimbledon if Boris is feeling munificent, but other tournaments around the globe will be problematic too. All for a 'vaccine' to a disease that is more treatable than the flu, a jab that isn't approved and doesn't do anything other than harm you. Welcome to 2022.
Israel
And another country that has lost its collective mind. After Macron's speech, which aggressively targeted the 'unvaccinated', it was open season on the same group of people in Israel, with particular emphasis on the children. The mainstream media started referring to any criticism of the government's Covid policies as national security offences and shopping malls, health services and state borders began shutting to all those lacking a Green Pass. Civilians can now be relied upon to grass up their neighbours for any transgressions. But it's in schools that some of the worst excesses are being practiced. Six year olds are required to wear masks all day, teachers are telling students to identify as vaxxed or unvaxxed and some of the latter are being made to wear bracelets to mark them out, often so that they may be denied school transportation.
When a child is deemed to have been exposed to a verified Covid case, the 'vaccinated' can do a home test and then return to school under their own steam. The 'unvaccinated' little toerags, on the other hand, must take a supervised test and then spend a week at home, regardless. And woe betide any unjabbed parent turning up at school; the Covid trustees (don't ask) are tasked with shooing them away.(23)
There is talk of the fourth jab being abandoned, as a study by the Israelis themselves shows that the shot is not effective against Omicron.(24) How could it be? The booster is just another dose of the same material that the virus has evolved to escape. My Israeli friend tells me there is also gossip in the Ministry of Health and from the Minster of Finance (who managed to contract Omicron five days after his second booster) about ending the Green Pass as it isn't working and is just punishing people. I remain doubtful; after all, that was its entire purpose all along. If the 'vaccinated' and 'unvaccinated' alike can still catch and transmit the disease, how could it be otherwise.
Israel is a prime example of what happens when the government doesn't get its way, but is either too arrogant or too desperate to accept it. Like France, they foster the impression that they are one of the most 'vaccinated' countries in the world and that they are waging war on just a sliver of dissenting people. However, relative to population, only 65% are fully 'vaccinated', which places them well down the field. They are trying to gaslight the resistance into believing that their situation is hopeless, when it is anything but.
Déjà vu all over again
Do you remember that, back in the day, certain US states sent Covid positive nursing home residents back to their homes from hospital, without being too particular about whether they were still infectious; New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, New York and California, to be precise? All of them share the distinction of having a Democrat governor, although I'm sure that's mere coincidence. To be fair to them, the US was far from the only country to ignore the most obvious of clues, which was that vulnerable people are susceptible to respiratory diseases in a way that healthy people aren't. Sweden, Italy and the UK distinguished themselves by displaying complete ignorance of this basic tenet and old people paid the price. In the US, 0.6% of the population live in nursing facilities and yet, by early summer 2020, 45% of all deaths came from their ranks.(25)
So, naturally, the thing to do would be to repeat the experiment and see if a different outcome presents itself. Connecticut hospitals are now asking nursing homes to accept Covid infected patients due to staff shortages,(26) which have been brought about, in large part, by 'vaccine' mandates for hospital staff. So, the hospital system justifies the mandates by insisting that their staff takes the jab so that they don't infect vulnerable patients, whilst at the same time sending Covid positive elderly patients back to their nursing homes, which contain other vulnerable people. New Jersey is already paying out $53 million in compensation for medical negligence for the first debacle.(27) It seems that news travels slowly. You really couldn't make this stuff up.
Full Steam Ahead
Some countries seem to be existing in a parallel universe, where the rules of science hold no sway. Typical of the lazy, nonsensical justifications that get bandied around and which take root when unchallenged is yet more doublespeak from Macron. The French have just passed a law which excludes 'unvaccinated' people from restaurants, sports arenas and other such places (how on earth they think they have the authority to do that is a question for another time, other than to say that constitutions and treaty agreements don't matter a damn if the politicians agree to simply ignore them and nobody is able to hold them to account).(28)
The reasoning is that this will help control the Omicron outbreak, which is allegedly overwhelming hospitals. This is, of course, utter nonsense. A short recap; Omicron is mild, as mild or milder than the seasonal flu, 'vaccinated' people are just as vulnerable to infection as 'unvaccinated' people and the number of 'unvaccinated' (and not previously infected) people must be dropping by the minute. They will then have immunity, unlike the 'vaccinated' who will be vulnerable to infection for the rest of their lives, in all probability. None of this matters to the French government, which is self admittedly setting course to other the 'unvaccinated' and doing so in defiance of any of the medical evidence.
Italy is also in full Fascist mode, mandating 'vaccines' for anybody over 50.(29) Turkey has crept up on the rails without being noticed. Apparently, the government is hoping to convince the 'anti-vaxxers' (nice to see that some tropes still have currency) that their future includes a fifth jab.(30) That's bound to do it. And Commissar Trudeau and his cronies are at it again. The Health Minister decided to do some blue sky thinking in public:
"What we see now is that our health care system in Canada is fragile, our people are tired, and the only way that we know to get through COVID-19, this variant and any future variant, is through vaccination." (31)
I don't wish to be too awkward, but this statement showcases a profound absence of logic, especially in someone who has the health portfolio. 'Vaccination' in a 'pandemic' (I know it wasn't a pandemic until they changed the wording) is the reason for the variants. Doing more of the same will only drive more viral mutation. I'm guessing that he does actually know that, but he's hoping that his audience doesn't. And, given that it's the People's Republic of Canada these days, he may be on to a winner there.
Half Throttle
Other countries, on the surface at least, are stepping back from the brink. Austria have postponed their mandatory 'vaccination' requirement to 1st April, appropriately enough, citing technical difficulties, which they didn't seem to realize they had until now.(32) And, although it sounds as convincing as the 'I want to spend more time with my family' excuse trotted out by disgraced politicians, it may actually be true. After all, it's not as if that particular government has been shy about victimizing its population.
The UK has also gone a little sotto voce lately. It's probable that the government is somewhat chastened by the rebellion of 100 MPs in the pre-Christmas vote on coronavirus laws, which included a requirement to wear masks in public places and use the Green Pass for some venues.(33) In a surprise to almost no-one, the Labour Party is busy keeping the government in power, allowing it to implode of its own accord and staying out of the firing line for as long as possible, rather than inherit the poisoned chalice and start having to make the unpopular choices themselves. Still, given the utter tone-deafness of Johnson and the imbecilic Javid, I don't suppose it will be long before the next outrage surfaces and, in fact, it may already have done so.
Because there clearly aren't enough laws in the UK already, there is a need for more. And, due to the fact that the Home Secretary only feels able to ban public protests under Covid regulations (which won't be around forever, allegedly), she feels the need to enshrine this new found power in a permanent law:
“The bill aims to limit where protests can take place, citing “noise” as a reason for police intervention if it causes “serious disruption” to an organisation in the vicinity.”(34)
In typical fashion, the proposed law is too loosely worded. The power to define what is 'serious disruption' resides with the secretary of state. Additionally, the law attempts to criminalize failing to comply with conditions that protesters ‘ought to have known about'. The power to stop and search will also be enhanced by doing away with the need for the police to demonstrate suspicion. It might be recalled that, back when this law was apparently conceived, Extinction Rebellion supporters were super-gluing themselves to the nearest flat surface and Black Lives Matter were throwing statues into rivers. The police, far from enforcing existing law, were either demonstrating their wokeness by kneeling with protesters, or diverting traffic around them whilst doing nothing about blatant examples of trespass. Adding to existing law is unnecessary. Adding to them and giving the power to interpret some of the law to the politicians is just one more step down the totalitarian path.
China
With all the doom and gloom pervading our lives at present, we do have the prospect of a small jolt of cheer. Yes, the Winter Olympics are just around around the corner, in Beijing. I'm not sure about you, but lately I could care less about sporting endeavour. It seems to have become almost irrelevant. If you're British, the Lions tour of South Africa and the Ashes Test Series in Australia have come and gone with nobody but the diehard fans registering the abject defeats. American interest in their traditional sporting diversions of football, baseball and basketball has been soured by the genuflecting to BLM and the pervasive influence of China (on the NBA in particular).
And now, the runt of the sporting litter is nearly upon us and the main pre-occupation isn't how well athletes will perform, but whether it will be the biggest super-spreader event in history.(35) The truth about what is really going on in China currently is as difficult to discover as it is always is. For nearly a month, there have been rolling lock-downs in various cities, ostensibly to contain Omicron (if you believe the official version), or to isolate some form of hemorrhagic fever, if you prefer to believe alternative accounts. Currently, over 100 million are shuttered and anybody with a mild cough is liable to get his apartment door hammered shut and his social credit score decimated.
It's difficult to know what the purpose of all this is, other than it not being about what we are told officially, but some inconvenient facts present themselves. The three major ports have been closed, starting on 2nd January and the effect of this action is going to be substantial.(36) If you thought the shelves were looking a little bare now, wait until the delayed reaction of these closures hits. So much of the world's products originate in the Far East. There is already a chronic shortage of computer chips due to the inability of Taiwan to keep up with demand – a couple of unfortunate fires haven't helped their cause, either – and we are being constantly regaled with stories of container vessels unable to dock and offload. That problem, at least, will be solved if there are no more ships to unload.
Perhaps that is the purpose of all this signalling and over-the-top reaction from the CCP. Or perhaps they are putting pressure on the US and others whilst giving themselves an out in the process; daring countries to boycott the Olympics by openly flagging up the fact that they can't guarantee anyone's safety. Who knows? Well, the US government almost certainly does, as they have form for calling up the Chinese on the QT (37) and they all rock up at Davos every year to commune with Klaus Schwab and the WEF. Indeed Xi was at it again this past Monday, with a virtual speech liberally peppered with the usual deathless clichés :
"The right way forward for humanity is peaceful development and win-win cooperation. Different countries and civilizations may prosper together on the basis of respect for each other, and seek common ground and win-win outcomes by setting aside differences.”(38)
Of course. Where knowingly exporting a lab created virus globally fits into that vision is another question for later. The timing of this new alarum is interesting. Apart from crippling global economies at a time of already existing stress, the over-reaction to what is said to be an Omicron outbreak may have another purpose, as I have previously speculated. If the Olympics go ahead and the world is then gripped with what our elders and betters insist is a new 'pandemic', the Chinese will be off the hook, unable to be the cast as the whipping boy as they were in certain quarters over Covid; certain quarters being every quarter other than officialdom.
Predictably, the Brandon administration is keen to divert our attention away from this bauble and onto the Russian question, by sabre rattling over Ukraine in an alarming fashion, because that is a far more consequential issue than the prospect of an Ebola like virus arriving on US shores. The next fortnight will be interesting.
Bayesian Analysis
Without getting too technical, Bayes's Theorem addresses the likelihood of a set of evolving circumstances having a causal relationship with a set of outcomes. That is the very short version. In this instance, a Canadian professor (who must possess some weighty cojones, given his nationality and the famed Trudeau-esque tolerance of dissent that exists in his home country), has published a 99 page study demonstrating that, beyond a scintilla of statistical doubt, the 'vaccines' are indeed causing death and destruction on a biblical scale.(39) In this instance, the abstract does actually reflect what is found within:
“The statistically significant and overwhelmingly positive causal impact after vaccine deployment on the dependent variables total deaths and total cases per million should be highly worrisome for policy makers. They indicate a marked increase in both COVID-19 related cases and death due directly to a vaccine deployment that was originally sold to the public as the “key to gain back our freedoms.””(40)
You may well be unaware of this study, or the numerous previous studies that make this connection, or associated ones. That would be because neither the governments that are supposed to benignly protect us nor the media whose job it is to keep us informed will go anywhere near the report. Even the fact-checkers have pleaded the Fifth. As an aside, I assume the author was being ironic when he name checked policy makers; the main thing that they are highly worried about is injecting more arms, not less. And, in case you were thinking of weakening, the following may give you pause. Not only have the 'vaccines' had no discernible impact on alleged Covid infection, as evidenced by Figure 1, the incidence of post vaccine injury reports exploded; to use the US as a proxy, both hospital databases and the VAERS system caught the phenomenon. In 2020, VAERS recorded 50,000 adverse events, compared to 740,000 in 2021, of which 700,000 were Covid related.(41) And as has been repeatedly proven, the VAERS database is distinguished by the fact that it routinely grossly under-reports.
Figure 1
The ineffectiveness of vaccines has a long and storied history, exacerbated by several factors, not the least of which is the mode of delivery:
“It is surprising that despite our current level of understanding of the common mucosal immune system, almost all current vaccines are given to humans by the parenteral 2 route. Systemic immunisation is essentially ineffective for induction of mucosal immune responses.”(42)
Or not, as the case may be. On top of that, the 21,000 reported VAERS deaths represents 68% of all deaths reported in the past 30 years. The adverse events comprise 52% of all injuries.(43) There is no reason to think that any other country will have escaped the same double whammy of a 'vaccine' that doesn't do the job, but which maims or kills instead. Incidentally, it would appear that the lab-coated ones aren't all in the pay of Big Pharma. I have found a list of over 1,000 scientific papers on the dangers of the 'vaccines', chronicling adverse events such as anaphylaxis and myocarditis among others,(44) not that we would know because it doesn't fit the narrative and is therefore unworthy of mention.
Roundup
As is now traditional, a few snippets to finish up. One of our other Canadian brethren, a Mountie dispatched to the purgatory of unpaid leave as a consequence of an unfortunate ability to distinguish fact from fiction, published an open letter by way of a full stop to his career. Among many meticulously parsed statistics was the following: 2018 world population at year end 7,631,091,040 (give or take), total deaths 57,625,149 or 0.76%. In 2019, the numbers were (respectively) 7,713,468,100, 58,294,778 and 0.76%. You may have sensed what's coming. In 2000, 7,794,798,739, 59,230,795 and, you've guessed it, 0.76%.(45) That's what a 'pandemic' looks like, I guess.
In other news, Hamburg, anxious not to surrender the title of Most Paranoid European City 2021, has laid down an early marker for the 2022 race. Double vaxxed now need a negative test too.(46) Of course they do. It's well established that you can't be too careful if you're a Hamburger. But the Germans, as is their wont, are pressing ahead in a rather blinkered fashion, belabouring the same mechanism. Across the Atlantic, the Canadians (again) are demonstrating an ability to think laterally. In Quebec, Green Passes are so yesterday. Now it's all about financially punishing the 'unvaccinated'. The federales are pondering the idea of depriving them of unemployment benefits and the Quebecois unvaxxed are going to be heavily taxed in the near future.(47) The logic, as usual, is impeccable. The 10% who are 'unvaccinated' shouldn't be allowed to harm the 'vaccinated'. One might think this would be difficult to do if the 'jabs' they are attempting to coerce the minority into taking actually protected the 'vaccinated', but no matter. The real reason was not hidden too deeply, as the Premier helpfully elucidated:
“I think right now it’s a question of fairness for the 90% of the population who made some sacrifices. I think we owe them this kind of measure.”(48)
Which is almost a mirror of the Australian mindset. And Quebec demonstrated its commitment to coercion in other ways, also. In December, a family court in the province decreed that a father should temporarily lose the right to see his 12 year old child because he was 'unvaccinated'.(49) It doesn't seem hyperbolic to state that Canada, in general, and Quebec, in particular, are no longer democracies in action.
While the Canadians continue to plumb the depths, there is heartening news from north of the English border. It's possible that we have misjudged the Scots, given the requirement to rely on Jimmy Cranky and the barely house-trained SNP MPs in Parliament for our information as to the national psyche. But now we have a little more intelligence. The Daily Record, a newspaper of note, took it upon itself to ask the following of its readership, as you do:
Figure 2
The following response was reflective of the general mood:
“Yes. We need protection from anyone who thinks this is a good idea. Put them there and some people at this news rag can lead the way.”(50)
All of which goes to show the risks associated with asking a question that you don't know the answer to and which also illustrates the seeming distance between the literati and the readership, on the subject of what constitutes a suitable topic for debate.
In completely unconnected news, a US court rejected Pfizer's attempt to slow walk the production of hundreds of thousands of documents related to their 'vaccine'.(51) Instead of 55 years, they now have around eight months. That may have put the cat among the pigeons; we shall see. As it will include information about clinical trials (which were not, how shall we say, transparently reported), I imagine Pfizer will be ordering in black markers by the crateful, to aid in the blizzard of redactions.
In another perfectly reasonable development, the Washington State Board of Health (in the good old US of A), published a proposed revision to state law, which would allow state health officials to immediately detain in quarantine or isolation persons who have denied:
“requests for medical examination, testing, treatment, counseling, vaccination, decontamination of persons...”(52)
This is all to happen purely on the say-so of those local health officers. What could possibly go wrong? I cite this as an example of how quickly the authoritarian contagion spreads. Australia, Canada, New Zealand and now, possibly, the US. But not Scotland, which is something.
Two further curios; the CDC, which might seem to have gone rogue of late, but almost certainly hasn't, took it upon itself to advise the heaving masses that the only mask worth its salt is the N95 surgical mask, which has to be thrown away after one use and which cost nearly a dollar a pop.(53) Why would they be telling us that now, after two years of insisting that the other, cheaper versions were also effective?
Figure 3
And it turns out that Viagra, as well as it's more famous function, is also effective for the ladies...if they are suffering from Covid and are given a massive injection of it.(54) This is due to the way in which it increases nitric oxide in the bloodstream, which Covid depletes. Interestingly, it's already used in the treatment of lung disease, altitude sickness and pulmonary hypertension among other conditions and works by increasing blood and oxygen flow. All the more reason to have some little blue pills stashed away.
And, finally
A few idle thoughts. Do you know how many countries you can travel to if you are 'unvaccinated'? The number is pitifully small already; I've only managed to find 24 so far and over half of them are small Caribbean nations. (55) Governments have been tightening the screw without us really noticing, no doubt hoping that this will lead to another rash of 'vaccinations' among those who value a two week holiday above their long term health.
It's shaping up to be 'vaccination' apartheid. Summer 2020 was late starting but light on restrictions when you got to your travel destination. Summer 2021 was considerably more painful as we entered the Compliance World; 'vaccines' were not yet compulsory, but jumping through the testing hoops was. Summer 2022 is shaping up to be 'vaccination' or nothing. This is the gradual introduction of the New Normal, which we have enabled by complying with the growing tyranny and which we will probably further assist, either by getting the jab or, conversely, by favoring the few countries who have not yet gone full retard.
It's not just a case of arguing against the imposition of any more restrictions or mandates. There is no case for retaining any of the strictures that already exist. The debate has long ago moved onto the battleground of compliance. The Djokovic saga illustrated it very well. Nobody was focusing on any threat of disease; the tenor of the coverage was that the Australian public had had to put up stringent restrictions and, with ineluctable logic, Djokovic should also pay the price because, as we all know, two wrongs have always added up to a right. The argument in the public sphere didn't mention the fact the the tennis player was a health risk. And even if he had Omicron and then subsequently passed it on, so what? There is widespread acknowledgement that the variant is mild and unthreatening and, according to some hyperbolic medical 'expert' from the UK, 'nature's vaccine'.
If we were to be charitable (and nothing in their conduct encourages that), we might conclude that the authorities had lost sight of the objective that their rules were designed to achieve and were instead wholly focused on the rules themselves and on punishing rule transgressors without any self reflection or flexibility. As I exhausted my already limited reservoir of charity months ago, I'm inclined to the view that the Australian government had boxed itself into a corner and opted for the double down route, as to do otherwise would be to invite a retrospective assessment of their policies that would not end well for them. Rules that either don't make sense or can't be enforced (or are both) are always going to be worked around, and rules that are allegedly in place in response to a shape shifting pandemic, and which have been set in concrete, are going to be vulnerable to this phenomenon in short order.
It seems to me that it is wrong to deny the fact that a country has the right to set its own immigration laws, but fair comment to point out that those rules don't make sense. It also richly ironic that the wokeists that applaud the Australian government for coming down hard on an 'anti-vaxxer' are conveniently ignoring the fact that the means to do so are found within the country's immigration laws, which those same wokeists regard as deeply unfair the rest of the time. Yet one more example of the hypocrisy that taints them.
Elsewhere, many Western governments have screwed their collectives eyes shut, put their fingers in their ears and loudly insisted on increased measures at the precise time when the evidence is going against them. Their media allies are covering their own backsides and protests are escalating rather than declining. There are four possible reasons; they believe that they have enough people on board to succeed; or, they are prepared to force the issue regardless; or they have miscalculated in epic fashion and are pushing for the final solution too early; or, lastly, this is designed as the death throes of Covid and another pandemic will be right along. European countries have long been viewed as vulnerable to totalitarianism of one stripe or another, while the Anglosphere has largely remained aloof from such tawdriness. No longer. Of the Five Eyes community, the UK is the only laggard, which is saying something.
The elites are also caught in their own lies and have to rely on their enablers in the press to keep the public largely unaware. How long can the narrative of the 'pandemic of the unvaccinated' be sustained? Is there an inexhaustible supply of these people? How can one square the circle? Omicron is super infectious, very mild and nature's vaccine. And yet the hospitals are full of the unjabbed?
The offensive is absolutely relentless. Everywhere you turn, there are lies and disinformation. All the big online news services such as MSN and Yahoo (let's not get started on Google) are lying through their teeth, treating Omicron as something worthy of comment, of a further rush to 'vaccination'. The world of appearances is omnipresent; the lie is the background to our lives. The concept of critical mass is consequential; if the numbers of 'vaccinated' grow large enough that the loss of custom is bearable, then an ever increasing numbers of countries will succumb to pressure and require visitors to be jabbed; the zealots and the compliant-because-it's-too-difficult-not-to-be crowd will have facilitated that scenario.
There are two elements that they haven't fully understood. The first is that it is highly likely that the definition of 'vaccinated' will change to include the booster shot. The second is that the 'vaccinated' will only be the golden children for a short while. Even a cursory reading of the plans that the WEF and their acolytes are working towards reveals that there is no room for two separate classes, beyond the elite. There are only two in total; the masters of the universe and the underclass. An ancient principle will reassert itself; there is no upside to complying with bullies.
And lastly, am I alone in wondering why Bourla, the CDC and the WHO are pushing for a third shot but not a fourth? If the shots don't work, why don't we stop at two? There is no virtue in having a third. So, what's in the third one? Is it the case that an insistence on repeated boosters in the absence of any evidence of severe disease is a non-starter and that to belabor a losing strategy weakens the elites? It's too expensive, too labor intensive and, over time, it is highly likely that fewer and fewer people will meet the definition of 'vaccinated', thus applying huge pressure to the business models of those enterprises which will only service the jabbed.
And so, the powers-that-be continue their schizophrenic and suddenly uncoordinated response, admitting that Omicron is not threatening and disavowing the second booster, while simultaneously ramping up mandates. It doesn't make sense, but maybe it's not supposed to. The best course of action is to continue to hold the line and wait while the outline of their next move reveals itself.

That's very kind of you. I'd heard of Cosell, but had to look Harwell up. I save material as I come across it, but the actual writing process took three days.
Endurance, you are the Howard Cosell and Ernie Harwell of this thing. Great reporting, summary, overview, however you call it; nuanced, insightful, catching them in their self-spun web and blow-torching it with the light of common sense. Mind me asking - how much time did that take to write?
