I imagine that most, if not all of you, have been following the unfolding tragedy in North Carolina in the wake of Hurricane Helene. Hundreds dead, bodies in trees, in mud slides, in submerged cars. Roads washed away. Entire communities cut off from the outside world. A disaster for one particular subset of people but, as is becoming increasingly apparent, notably serendipitous to another discrete group. And I started to wonder, then I started to dig and what I think I've found did not cause me to step back in amazement, as I was already half expecting it. It might not surprise you, either, although it probably would have done just a few short years ago.
Hurricane Helene was 'unusual'. Hurricanes usually form in the North Atlantic, often nearer the coast of Africa than the US.
Figure 1
Hurricanes that form in the Gulf of Mexico – rather than passing through it – are not the norm, but that's what Helene managed to do, transforming from a tropical storm just off the coast of Mexico. Not in the deep Atlantic – within spitting distance of land.
Figure 2
Coincidentally, Hurricane Milton has just formed in much the same location and is said to be heading for Florida, with landfall expected on Wednesday.
Figure 3
Figure 4
You will note (from Figure 1) that Atlantic hurricanes track from west to north east during the latter part of their journey. This is because of a weather phenomenon known as the Bermuda high-pressure system which sits over Bermuda in the summer. Sometimes, such as was the case in 2004 and 2005, it expands which causes hurricanes that would ordinarily have remained at sea to make landfall on the continental United States. The jet stream also blows from west to east, which is why most storms over land also work in the same direction.
Figure 5
Figure 6
All high pressure systems in the northern hemisphere have a clockwise circulation and even hurricanes that begin life in (or adjacent to) the Gulf of Mexico are subject to this action. Which was how Helene was tracking – until it wasn't.
Figure 7
Figure 8
The commentariat don't find this deviation in any way noteworthy or deserving of an explanation. A hurricane that is spinning clockwise yet moves in an anti-clockwise direction is perfectly normal, apparently. And it's not as though the weather forecasters were caught off-guard – they were predicting that it would behave in that fashion ahead of time. How could they have known that Helene would be anomalous? Answer; they couldn't, unless they were told in advance.
Figure 9
It puts one in mind of Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
Figure 10
The mainstream media wasn't curious about that turn of events either, but some of the Awake were. They remembered that, after Sandy had weakened to a tropical storm, microwave imagery showed a beam of energy deployed to the east of it, after which the storm strengthened to a hurricane and turn west, making landfall in New Jersey.(1) When they refreshed their memory further, they remembered that, in 1947, the US military and its partners had dropped 200lbs of dry ice into a storm that was around 350 miles east of Jacksonville, Florida and heading out into the Atlantic, at which point the storm had swung to the west and slammed into Georgia, causing millions of dollars worth of damage.(2) There was a considerable scandal at the time.
Project Cirrus, as this manipulation was known, went into hibernation – allegedly. Learning how to weaponize the weather was supposedly declared off limits until 1962 when the eponymous Project Stormfury was inaugurated. It wasn't long before the military was at it again, this time with Hurricane Betsy in 1965 which stopped, changed direction and ploughed into South Florida. The official denial was a limp affair, maintaining that they were about to seed it but it changed direction before they were able to.(3)
The US Army also weaponised the weather during the Vietnam War, turning the Ho Chi Minh trail into a quagmire, greatly impeding the Viet Cong. The belated disclosure of this operation, in 1974, led to an international agreement barring any action by a hostile force that could result in
“...earthquakes, tsunamis; an upset in the ecological balance of a region; changes in weather patterns (clouds, precipitation, cyclones of various types and tornadic storms); changes in climate patterns; changes in ocean currents; changes in the state of the ozone layer; and changes in the state of the ionosphere.”(4)
Which is remarkably sweeping in its scope. Who'd said anything about any weather effect other than rain-making? Why was it felt necessary to also mention earthquakes, tsunamis and the ionosphere? And how on earth could such a convention be enforced when the ability to measure any such modification is lacking? Answer – it can't. Any transgressor would have plausible deniability in spades. Nonetheless, it's worth noting that the Great Powers were alive to the possibility that war could be waged (potentially) by a range of weather modifications a whole five decades ago.
The cat was truly out of the bag by 1997, when Secretary of Defence William Cohen 'fessed up at a conference, stating that the US possessed technology that was capable of controlling the weather, including earthquakes and volcanoes. But woe betide any Weather Service employees filling in the detail – they are tethered by illegal gag orders.(5) However, the existence of weather modification isn't really much of a secret in the rest of the globe. The world and his wife is happy to confirm that they are serial meddlers.
Figure 11
Figure 12
Figure 13
Then there are the US patents, of course – at least eight of them.
Figure 14
Figure 15
This one is what is explicitly termed a “hurricane and tornado control device”.(6) The abstract is as follows:
“A method is disclosed for affecting the formation and/or direction of a low atmospheric weather system. Audio generators are positioned to project sound waves to project sound waves towards a peripheral area of a weather system. The sound waves are generated at a frequency to affect the formation of the weather system in a manner to disrupt, enhance or direct the formation. The sound waves can be projected in a manner to cause the system to produce rain.”(7) emphasis mine
In other words, weather on demand. There doesn't appear to be any doubt that it can be done – that weather can be created and then steered to its destination. The online fact-checkers repeat the tired formulae that they use when defending other establishment lies about Covid, climate change and so on; there's “no proof”, “conspiracy theory”, “rumours” - you know how they play the game by now. But Helene behaved in other unprecedented ways, also. Ways that cannot be natural. Hurricanes usually weaken rapidly once they reach land, for three main reasons:
The moisture supply dries up: Hurricanes feed on the warm waters of the ocean. Once they move over land, they lose their energy source and begin to weaken.
Friction increases: The rough surface of the land disrupts the storm’s organized circulation, slowing its wind speeds.
Land has a cooling effect: Land is cooler than the ocean, cutting off the heat that sustains the storm’s power.(9)
That didn't happen with Helene. Somehow, the hurricane picked up power, barrelled far inland wreaking havoc and then lurched left to decimate the western corner of North Carolina. How might that have happened? I would imagine that the methodology is akin to that described in the patent application, whereby sound waves are used to direct the hurricane and seed it with rain. Something like this.
Figure 16
Given that the patents are over twenty years old, it is not unreasonable to assume that some form of weather modification technique has been devised, one that can also direct the weather to specific locations. Perhaps our one-time acquaintance HAARP has a role to play. The EU certainly thought so as long ago as 1999; in fact, they had quite a lot to say about HAARP. They even passed a resolution, calling the project a global concern and were unabashed in labelling HAARP “a weapons system which disrupts climate”.(10)
So, the technology is known and has, presumably, been built out. In addition, the US military has been forced to acknowledge that they have meddled with weather modification in the past, both in the US and in Vietnam. One could reasonably assume that the tech was intended to be used. Nobody forced the government's hand; it chose to allocate taxpayer funds to the project. Alleging that Hurricane Helene was engineered is not, then, the raving of a lunatic, particularly given the fact that it behaved in ways that were unnatural and unprecedented.
Then there is the government response or lack thereof. Under Biden, we have seen this dynamic repeatedly. Firstly, in East Palestine, Ohio – another nest of MAGA vipers undeserving of federal assistance in the toxic aftermath of a trail derailment in February, 2003. The water supply is still contaminated over 18 months later and the government (and an emboldened railway company) is still in full fob-off mode.(11) The Type Bs that populate the Democratic Party don't even care about their own voters, as the residents of Lahaina can no doubt testify. It's well over a year since the alleged wildfire decimated their town and they are all still living out of suitcases.
But the non-response to Helene sets a new low. FEMA, the federal agency responsible for disaster relief, is apparently short of funds, having sequestered over a billion dollars to spend on illegal immigrants, a state of affairs now denied by the administration, despite copious evidence to the contrary, including officials' own public utterances:
“FEMA Regional Administrators have been meeting with city officials to coordinate...funding is also available through FEMA's Emergency Food and Shelter program...to support humanitarian support for migrants.”(12)
Homeland Security Secretary, serial liar Alejandro Mayorkas, claims that the agency doesn't have the funds to see it through hurricane season,(13) not that it would make any difference if it had. Biden's handlers aren't even slightly interested in assisting, not when 23 of the 25 counties now included in the federal disaster declaration voted for Trump in 2020, where there are 480,000 registered Republicans and only 292,000 registered Democrats.(14) This in a swing state that took ten days to 'count the vote' in 2020 (one of seven states that were clearly targeted in the Big Steal), which Trump won 50.1% to 48.7% - a margin of just under 75,000 votes. In the 28 counties most affected, the disparity in voting was starker even than registrations suggested – 527,000 Trump votes as against only 113,000 to Biden.(15)
And so, instead of helping, FEMA and the rest of the federal government are actively hindering efforts to reconnect the rural communities of western North Carolina to the outside world. Biden didn't deploy adequate troops for ten days, despite there being two vast army camps in North Carolina with a combined total of 80,000 soldiers in situ.(16) FEMA blocked relief efforts, attempted to prevent Starlink installations and threatened helicopter rescuers with arrest. They seized emergency supplies and locked them away.(17)(18) Buttigieg, the absentee Transport supremo, attempted to implement a no-fly zone for drones.(19) They failed to issue clear orders to disaster responders who were left in limbo.(20) The tactics were unsubtle:
“Make no mistake about it, siege and starvation are tools of warfare. And the Democrats are, by calculation, waging war against the dying citizens of western North Carolina.”(21)
Biden and his acolytes don't care what it looks like. The Pretender-in-Chief was on the beach the weekend the hurricane swept in and Harris was in California brandishing her begging bowl. Neither saw a need to rearrange their schedules. If they were truly campaigning, they would surely have been all over the disaster response, but they aren't. They are using FEMA as a blocking runner and the media is running cover, but at least some commentators are prepared to call it out:
“I believe that the essential thing to understand about what FEMA is doing (and not doing) in places like North Carolina and Tennessee revolves around the Biden-Harris administration’s thoroughgoing efforts to weaponize government against any rivals. Residents of North Carolina and Tennessee were denied aid because in just 30 days they are likely to vote for Donald Trump. In other words, this deployment, or pseudo-deployment, of FEMA is just the latest sortie in the Democrats’ ongoing efforts at voter suppression.”(22)
However, in the alternative reality that we inhabit – where Truth is a stranger – the key is perception. Yes, the Democrats have no empathy and will deliberately slow walk the disaster response because they want Trump to leech votes, but whether that works in actuality (or not) is not the primary aim. The most important element in the plan is the perception that this is what will happen. If that perception can take root, it doesn't really matter how many more ballots Trump gets. They can simply shred them, inflate their own totals, 'win' North Carolina's 15 Electoral College votes and it will be treated as a realistic outcome – not just by the Left, but also by the RINO 'conservative' press. Sure, their behaviour will be viewed as reprehensible, but they won't care.
Which is why their minions are already planting the seed, by stating that the rural Trump voters will find it hard to vote, whereas affected Democrats are townies and “upscale liberal voters and they're probably going to figure out a way to vote.”(23) Even if we ignore the inevitable condescension, one can see how that might be the case. Getting to a voting station in an urban area or relying on a mail-in ballot is going to a lot easier than doing likewise in the rural. The Democrats have concentrated on cheating in urban areas, where there is more bang for their buck. The rural counties to the west of North Carolina are all Trump. I would be very surprised if Harris wastes the opportunity to engage in a spot of larceny.
Figure 17
But the big prize may very well be Florida, home to another 29 Electoral College votes, as a rough and ready calculation suggests. Harris will be expected to win the states that are supposedly reliably blue. There are 19 of them, worth a total of 231 votes, with 270 votes the total that assures victory. If she takes both North Carolina and Florida, she has 275 and that's without any of the other swing states. She could surrender Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia and Arizona – all much-delayed counts that Biden 'won' in 2020 – and still win. No need for all the unpleasantness that was unavoidable last time around. Enter, once more, Hurricane Milton, currently headed straight for the west coast of Florida with wind speeds of
Figure 18
The New York Post coyly notes that:
“After forming in the Gulf of Mexico, Milton rapidly accelerated from a tropical storm with 60-mph winds Sunday morning to a deadly, 180-mph, Category 5 hurricane by Monday — an incredible trebling of power in only 36 hours.”(24)
That would be 'incredible' as in 'not credible'. Let's see where it's due to make landfall.
Figure 19
Now let's overlay an electoral map from 2020.
Figure 20
The six biggest Trump counties (Lake, Manatee, Brerard, Marion plus Collier and Lee – all rural) are going to get decimated, as they are either to the west or slap bang in the middle of the anticipated path of Milton. Miami and Palm beach, together with Tallahassee – all Democrat 'strongholds' - will be on the periphery. The only hits the blue team will take will be in Orlando and Tampa, but the same urban dynamic applies. Normal service will be resumed in the cities before the rural recovers.
In 2020, Trump won Florida 51.2% to 47.9%. Biden was short about 370,000 votes, but that total includes ballots from some notoriously corrupt counties. There are now less than four weeks to Election Day and Milton is shaping up to be a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon. The barometric pressure of the storm has dropped to 897 millibars - only five hurricanes over the past 170 years have done likewise.(25) The Mayor of Tampa is telling all who will listen to evacuate and she's not mincing words; “if you choose to stay, you are going to die”.(26)
The aftermath is going to be utter chaos. Many of those who have fled will not have homes to return to. Nor will there be much in the way of services, I suspect. It wouldn't be difficult to convince people that the state flipped blue, just as in North Carolina. And, if Milton is also being directed by a hidden hand, what other reason could possibly be in play? In October, just before an election that Harris cannot win without huge dollops of chicanery? But one the Left cannot countenance losing?
The technology exists and Helene was not a natural event. It formed in an unusual area, its track turned west, it gathered power over land and it skirted the blue counties and camped over the red. The Democrats are now doing their best to kill off as many Appalachian deplorables as they can and the death toll is going to be mighty. In Asheville alone, there are reports of over 900 unidentified bodies at the Mission Hospital.(27) And now there's another hurricane inbound that is equally exceptional? Really? There are no coincidences, but one can almost guarantee an October Surprise. If that is what these hurricanes are, it'll be an elegant solution to an electoral wipeout that's impossible to challenge. And it would cater for the failure to remove Trump from the race. Pretty smart, really.
