Would it surprise you to learn that, even in 2010 (two years into Obama's first term in office), around 60% of Americans described themselves as politically conservative? Or that this number is typical of a longer trend comprising 15 separate data points?(1) Self identification as a liberal, however, was something only 34% of respondents were comfortable with.(2) Conservatives have been the largest ideological group in the nation since at least 1973 and, in 2009, outnumbered liberals in every state in the nation.(3) Given the progressive onslaught that has since been unleashed, the trend will have continued.
This despite the fact that opinion makers such as members of the media and academia are overwhelmingly liberal in outlook; in 2005, 72% of US university professors defined themselves as liberal (as against 13% who identified as conservative),(4) a number that has surely risen since. The proportion of liberals to conservatives in media has always hovered around three or four to one.(5) One wonders how many more conservatives would be found in the general population if liberal political bias was less endemic in these two key professions.
Given these numbers, the saga of US elections is somewhat difficult to fathom. Prior to 1992, things made sense. Republicans averaged 417 electoral votes per cycle, with the Democrats garnering an average of 113. But since then, the trend has reversed with Republicans capturing 224 and Democrats 314. The Republicans also used to win the popular vote by 10% - now they lose it by 4%.(6)
However, voters are still more switched on and skeptical about events than one might imagine. 61% of them believe that cheating affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, 60% believe the same about the 2022 mid-terms and 66% believe it will business as usual in 2024, including 55% of Democrats.(7) When two-thirds of an electorate believes its elections are rigged, there is trouble on the horizon, especially when the establishment had suppressed all dissent and declared it to be the most safe and secure in history.
This is why, within three weeks of Biden's inauguration, 54% did not believe that the federal government had the consent of the governed, as against only 26% who believed it did.(8) It's also why the overwhelming majority support requiring voters to show Voter ID (83%), a stipulation that the Democrat leadership is committed to abolishing wherever it can.(9)
When surveyed in September 2023, 70% of voters believed that their personal values were under attack (a number that included 90% of Republicans).(10) Further, 56% believe that woke culture is a problem and 69% had little to no respect for social media companies.(11) 52% strongly believe that the country is going in the wrong direction, with a whopping 94% concerned that political leaders are abusing their power.(12) Consequently, 75% believe that democracy in the the US is under attack (65% strongly believing so).(13) Interestingly, in those over 30, the desire to achieve Net Zero in order to combat the climate change that has just blanketed large parts of Europe with snow is not widely felt; at least two thirds want to persist in the use of fossil fuels.(14)
Astonishingly, 28% of voters believe that they knew someone who died of the 'vaccine' and 49% think that the shot has caused a significant number of unexplained deaths. A plurality believe that Fauci lied about US involvement in gain-of-function research and 60% agreed with the statement “China lied. Fauci lied. People died.”(15) I suspect, however, that mistrust of the 'vaccine' is far higher than these numbers suggest, as only 7.1% of adults and 2.1% of children had taken the latest booster as of 14th October 2023.(16)
The ruling elites and their minions aren't just unpopular in America. The Canadians have finally had enough of their narcissist-in-chief, Justin Trudeau, with nearly three in four wanting him to step down immediately. Were an election to be held today, the Conservatives would wipe the floor with the Liberals, 42% to 24%.(17) The same dynamic is at play in the UK, although the roles are reversed.
The Tories, allegedly a conservative party, are widely reviled and would lose to the equally execrable Labour Party by up to 23 percentage points.(18) 63% of the country thinks that the country is on the wrong track (19) and the absolute refusal to seize the opportunities afforded by Brexit – presumably as part of the sotto voce campaign to rejoin the EU – has resulted in 56% now believing that it was a mistake to leave.(20) Half the country doesn't think that Sunak will make it through the next month, let alone the next year.
In Germany, Chancellor Scholz's popularity numbers are subterranean and he can't even pass a budget that doesn't run afoul of his country's constitution. The Germans enshrined a 'debt brake' into law in 2009 (limiting the structural deficit to 0.35% of GDP), a requirement that two thirds of voters support.(21) However, the globalist liberal coalition that currently rules the country is committed to the usual Net Zero nonsense – which it now can't pay for – and also to unchecked, illegal mass migration. And so, for the fourth straight year, Scholz has suspended the rule and borrowed more than he should. This is a course of action that is unlikely to prove popular at the ballot box.
It is reassuring to see that voters are a little more sensible than we might have thought, but profoundly disconcerting to realize that vast numbers of them (in the US, in particular) don't believe that they are being governed legitimately. Whilst this latter truth has been apparent to those who exercise their critical faculties for some considerable time, the capacity of the sheople for disinterest or self-delusion has always been widespread.
But it seems that the veil is slipping and it's not difficult to see why when we examine the cornucopia of depredations that have been forced upon us, and then factor in those that are also on their way. The answer to the pivotal question – when is enough enough? - may be becoming clearer. Certainly, recent developments across a broad range of topics are only going to result in further disquiet.
In the culture wars, it seems that the wokerati may have started biting off more than they can chew. Doubling down, as they always do, they've just published a new textbook called Gender-Affirming Psychiatric Care, yours for $58 on Amazon;
“The 26 chapters are written by 56 authors, 50 of whom are in the transgender community, according to the textbook's foreword. Chapters include affirming "two-spirit people," a term used to refer to someone who believes he or she is both sexes, and one about "double queer" people—or people who identify as transgender and have a mental disability.”(22)
Apparently, it's utter gibberish, replete with Marxist queer theory and littered with all the usual nonsense about 'cisgender' men, white privilege and oppression; the authors, predictably, object to the notion that only women can have babies. None of this would much matter, were it not for the fact that it is published by the American Psychiatric Association, meaning that it will be regarded as authoritative:
“"Anyone wanting to practice gender-affirming care, any attorney wanting to defend it, and any legislator who wants to protect it, now they have a new peer-reviewed textbook, not just 'evidence' in a journal or a study."”(23)
Entrenching cultural Marxism in the practice of psychiatry may be a step too far. It comes hard on the heels of recent, absurd attempts at revisionist history, whereby a Roman emperor was transgender and black women were the category of person most likely to die in English medieval plagues.(24) Interestingly, these revelations are now tending to be greeted more with ridicule than with reverence and the inevitable endgame of woke culture (disappearing up its own backside) might just be heaving into view.
The very latest idiocy – that a man can be a lesbian (seriously) – (25) is currently getting trashed by luminaries such as Martina Navratilova, a genuine lesbian; all that is needed is the slightest of push backs and the convoluted, idiotic ideology is exposed. LGBTQ Nation was predictably apoplectic at Navratilova's insistence that a bloke in a dress is still a bloke and unburdened themselves thusly:
“In misgendering a trans woman and excluding her from the lesbian community, Navratilova is echoing sentiments of so-called ‘trans exclusionary radical feminists’ (TERFs) who see womanhood as an inborn ‘essential’ identity determined by sex assigned at birth — one that can’t be claimed by undergoing medical transition.”(26)
One imagines that it's examples like this that might cause 70% of a population to feel that their values are under attack. At any rate, it does come across as end-stage delusional and a position that nobody of sound mind would want to defend. When gender ideology was a fringe concern, it could be safely ignored, but mainstreaming nonsense like this is unlikely to end well. For the sake of clarity; the term 'transgender' is, in and of itself, an absurdity. One can add or remove whatever appendages one chooses and biological sex is unaffected. These are simply facts.
Wokeism and the cancel culture that accompanies it is a threat to all normal, sensible people and its tentacles now stretch into pretty much all elements of life. It's an attempt to control the cultural equivalent of the Overton Window, to be able to declare what is and isn't acceptable, not just for the common man but, by extension, in politics and even such systems as the judiciary. Musk got it right, like he usually does:
“At its heart, wokeness is divisive, exclusionary, and hateful. It basically gives mean people… a shield to be mean and cruel, armored in false virtue.”(27)
That's why a wokeist will never admit that they are wrong; to do so would be to admit to fallibility, which would inevitably lead to future questions rather than immediate compliance – questions which will be impossible to answer, because the edicts handed down have no basis in fact. Perhaps the steady accumulation of incidents such as the above, while sometimes trivial, will nonetheless result in a hard stop at some point soon.
Deception and dissembling have become endemic. Finding the truth might never have been so difficult and yet large numbers of people have, at the very least, little faith in the narratives that they are constantly fed. But we have become unmoored from whatever it was that provided the bedrock for the morality of our civil societies. What that framework was and how we've lost it will be the subject of a larger, future piece but (by way of example), any civilization that can produce a verdict as perverse as a German court's last week is on the cusp of implosion and in need of a major correction in course.
In a far from isolated case, four men dragged a 15 year old into the bushes in a park and gang-raped her, stealing her wallet and cell 'phone. Before she managed to leave the park, she endured three further separate rapes, first by two men, then by one man and finally by another three.(28) When the case finally came to trial, nine were convicted. Only one of them is going to prison (for only two years and nine months); the other eight received youth sentences that were suspended.
The Ministry of Justice confirmed that at least six of the defendants were immigrants, claiming that four were German citizens, but releasing no photographs. It would not be a surprise to find that the German citizens were also immigrants. It would also be unsurprising to find that a judgement such as this, whether technically correct or otherwise, is just the sort of outrage that prompts change – from the bottom up, not the top down. It is clear that something deeply corrupt has been rendered legal which, in turn, indicates that matters of morality have proceeded to a place they should never have arrived at.
The fissures in German society, due to the curse of out of control immigration, are already vast and are widening still further. The aforementioned 15 year old victim is, regrettably, far from alone and the statistics are staggering. Foreigners comprise around 13% of the German population and yet, out of 59,984 serious crimes committed in 2022, 47,923 (or 80%) involved immigrants.(29) Or, put another way, serious crime is five times more prevalent than it would be without an immigrant population (serious crimes are categorized as assault, murder, rape and robbery).
They have plenty of spare time in which to commit these crimes, as the state is paying the able bodied migrants to remain idle; 62.6% of welfare recipients in Germany are migrants and, within the 15-25 age group, that number rises to 71.3%,(30) thus giving the lie to the usual progressive justification for mass immigration being a need for low-skilled labor (itself a contention that reeks of racism). One might imagine that German voters may have come to the conclusion that inviting in foreigners from cultures that have nothing in common with their own and then paying them while they commit a plethora of serious crimes against the natives is, perhaps, a step too far. If so, they have yet to make themselves heard.
Immigration, whether 'legal' or otherwise, is an issue that is becoming increasingly flammable across the West for the simple reason that the ruling class are paying no attention to what their citizens have to say. They are not representatives of the people, they are 'leaders'. They are also running scared, wholly unable to accept the consequences of their own actions, which is not a tactic that can succeed in the long run; not in a democracy, anyway. This is well illustrated in the manifestly botched decision, by a French prosecutor, to not acknowledge the racist context of a murder committed by a gang of Muslim immigrants, even though nine witnesses gave statements that provided evidence that the gang said that they were “there to stab white people”.(31) Typically, when authorities act in this fashion, they get away with it in the short term. They either don't realize (or don't care) that people don't forget – it's one more straw on the camel's back.
The Tories are also feeling the heat (justly) because of their abject failure to control legal immigration:
“In the end, the Conservatives came to power in 2010 with a mandate to bring immigration down to the tens of thousands and reduce taxes and shrink the state. Thirteen years later they have presided over record immigration and a tax burden at historic highs shovelling billions into an even more bloated state. The scale of the failure – and betrayal – is difficult to express.”(32)
There is no viable excuse; they have been repeatedly told that immigration needs to come down (not least by the Leave victory in the Brexit referendum which was, at least partly, about immigration) and they have paid no mind. White British, as a demographic group, are now a minority in the capital city, Muhammed has been the most popular baby boy name for years and 1.2 million people arrived in the UK in 2022, a net increase of 750,000 over the previous year.(33)
Figure 1
The total foreign-born population (whether legal or illegal) in the US was reportedly 49.5 million people in October 2023, although the true figure will be higher as border got-aways cannot be accurately quantified and it's a racing certainty that not every illegal immigrant would want to submit to a government census.(34) This equates to more than 15% of the total population. The numbers are so overwhelming that the White House wants to turn federal parks into encampments for unvetted illegal immigrants, an endeavor that may yet be foiled.(35)
It is known that the cost of housing illegal aliens and 'asylum seekers' in the US is now running at $451 billion a year (36) and yet, still they cross the southern border unimpeded. The federal government actually assists them by removing barriers and barbed wire; more than 10,000 crossed in a single day last week (37) and 12,000 came through yesterday.(38) And that's not all – a Sheriff from Arizona informs us that, once processed, each illegal alien is given a cellphone, a plane ticket to a destination of their choice and a Visa card with $5,000 credit.(39) So, Biden and co are not only violating their oath of office; they are openly rubbing the electorate's face in it.
Rather than providing a service to US veterans, the Department of Veteran Affairs processed 161,000 medical and dental claims for illegal aliens in 2022.(40) One might speculate that, as in Europe (where racist attacks against Christians are up 44% in a single year),(41) there must come a point at which the people have seen enough but, once again, there is nothing to show that the point has already been reached.
Other ignominies have been heaped upon us. It is becoming increasingly clear that, firstly, there never was a pandemic; that, secondly, there was a deliberate culling of the vulnerable to make it appear that there was; and, thirdly, that the semi-mandatory panacea to cure all ills – the 'vaccine' – has been intentionally designed to inflict further death and suffering. None of those statements are said lightly. It was already known that influenza - itself an umbrella term, in reality as it also includes cases of bacterial pneumonia, bacterial and viral influenza and coronaviruses- ceased to exist during the 'pandemic', allegedly subsiding to the tune of 98% worldwide. By October 2020, both the CDC in America and the NHS in the UK had stopped counting flu cases altogether, an unprecedented move.
Further, the elderly in the US are vaccinated with a particularly powerful dose of flu vaccine called Fluzone High-Dose Quadrivalent, which contains four times the antigen of a regular shot.(42) In 2019, 72.6% of the over 65s were administered this dose. Italy, the first Western country said to have been impacted by the 'pandemic', had also introduced a new 'super vaccine' for influenza in September 2019. VIQCC, as the vaccine was named, was created by using cultured animal cells rather than embryonated chicken eggs as previously and included four different influenza strains.
As such, it stimulated a much greater immune response in vaccinees, which is another way of saying that, in the aftermath of the jab, their immune system would have been more severely compromised. And it wasn't just Italy. Health authorities in Europe had been pushing influenza vaccines particularly hard in the winter of 2019, especially in Eastern Europe. The scene had been carefully set. Now all that was needed was a pretend pandemic. And it was pretend; the data is in.
Since time immemorial, the pattern of deaths through the world has been consistent. There are always spikes in the winter and troughs in the summer, unless events such as wars and natural disasters intervene. The spikes in March/April 2020 were unprecedented and, implausibly, only happened in the West – not in Eastern Europe, Russia or (exceptionally) in Germany. Additionally, the spikes in mortality were synchronous – there was no evidence of spread. That is not how viruses work.
Instead, the spike in excess deaths is positively correlated with the state response. The more aggressive the response, the more excess mortality:
“What can be said is that COVID produced a bump of up to about 15% “excess deaths” in a small number of relatively rich, NATO countries, but in world-wide terms produced no extra deaths beyond what would have been expected for 2020. Most of the hard-hit countries were under, and may still be under, the severest forms of “lockdowns” and “social distancing” such as Italy, UK, France, Spain, Portugal, and parts of the US.”(43)
Psychological stress, such as is brought on by isolation, for instance, is known to severely depress immune systems. The lungs are particularly vulnerable in this regard, as pathogens in the respiratory tract are already present, but are usually held in check. Deaths from bacterial pneumonia result. When one includes the tendency to intubate anyone already in hospital for failing a PCR test that is so unreliable that samples taken from a papaya, a quail and a goat tested positive for Covid,(44) one is able to create a 'pandemic' at will.
Two further elements are worthy of note. Every year there is spate of deaths in care homes immediately after the flu vaccine is administered; introducing a more powerful flu vaccine is unlikely to put a dent in that trend. Further, account must be taken of the role that 'end of life care' played in some countries, particularly the UK. The lock-downs ensured that elderly individuals in hospitals and care homes became easy prey. A PCR test, a course of midazolam (a sedative that should have had no role in the treatment of an alleged respiratory disease, but which does form part of the dose in a lethal injection execution) and a 'Covid' death was the result. There's no other conclusion that can be drawn; it was an officially sanctioned campaign of murder.
Figure 2
Figure 3
In April 2020, there were 26,541 deaths in UK care homes, an increase of 17,850 on the five year average.(45) Having killed off enough useless eaters to give credence to their notion of a 'pandemic', our lords and masters then went to considerable lengths to deny us any effective treatments. A drug like ivermectin, an anti-viral that works by preventing a virus from replicating (and which would, presumably, work on other circulating respiratory diseases) was retrospectively quarantined, despite it being approved decades previously. But an admission that an effective treatment existed would instantly disqualify any potential 'vaccine' from being granted an Emergency Use Authorization and that would never do.
And so the second stage of the depopulation agenda was rolled out in December 2020; an experimental gene therapy (not a vaccine) that had never been properly tested. Carnage ensued, but carnage can apparently ensue (for years) if it is unacknowledged. The peaks of deaths perfectly correlate to different 'vaccination' campaigns and the launch of the subsequent booster shots. Thusfar, it is calculated (with confidence, as the possible range is only half a million each way) that 17 million people have been killed by the shot:(46)
“There were 965,609 deaths among the vaccinated compared to just 60,903 deaths among the unvaccinated between July 2021 and May 2023. Meaning there was a grand total of 1,026,512 deaths in England during this period and the vaccinated accounted for 94% of them, whereas the unvaccinated accounted for just 6% of them.”(47)
Now, it's not just the elderly that are in the cross-hairs – it's every age group including, tragically, children.
Figure 4
Again, no other explanation fits the data. One might be inclined to the view that the 'vaccines' are simply a colossal mistake; but only if one was terminally stupid. The authorities' pre-'vaccine' pandemic response was, as we've seen, also genocidal. They are trying to kill us off. Which is why we won't need as many resources to maintain a semblance of a standard of living – there simply won't be as many of us around. And anything they can do to hasten the die-off is permissible. It's happened and both villain and victim are still pretending it hasn't. Which is a little underwhelming; it's difficult to imagine a more flagrant perversion of their mandate than an attempt to do away with us.
Although the climate change scam is a close second and absolutely pivotal in the scheme to subjugate the vast bulk of humanity. With 'human-induced global warming' large chunks of their agenda no longer have a scintilla of respectability. Digital IDs, a social credit score masquerading as a carbon allowance, CBCDs (so that we spend our money on the right, carbon-neutral baubles), the utter stupidity of Net Zero – they can still play the convenience game and sucker some of the sheople who like the idea of paying for items with a microchip in their thumb, but they can't force their plan on the rest of us.
The latest autocratic idiocy must surely prompt some kind of response, as it is a stark reminder of the mindset of our abusers and of the underhand methods they will use to get their way. They don't want us to have any independence – none, zilch, nada. In case we've forgotten, Schwab's vision of our future (which aligns perfectly with Agenda 21 and the rest of the globalist agenda) includes these gems:
“Welcome to the year 2030. Welcome to my city - or should I say, "our city." I don't own anything. I don't own a car. I don't own a house. I don't own any appliances or any clothes. Everything you considered a product, has now become a service. We have access to transportation, accommodation, food and all the things we need in our daily lives. One by one all these things became free, so it ended up not making sense for us to own much... when clean energy became free, things started to move quickly. Transportation dropped dramatically in price. It made no sense for us to own cars anymore, because we could call a driverless vehicle or a flying car for longer journeys within minutes... in our city we don't pay any rent, because someone else is using our free space whenever we do not need it. My living room is used for business meetings when I am not there. Once in a while, I will choose to cook for myself. It is easy - the necessary kitchen equipment is delivered at my door within minutes... this also made the breakthrough of the circular economy easier...everything is designed for durability, repairability and recyclability.... environmental problems seem far away, since we only use clean energy and clean production methods....when AI and robots took over so much of our work, we suddenly had time to eat well, sleep well and spend time with other people... once in a while I get annoyed about the fact that I have no real privacy. Nowhere I can go and not be registered. I know that, somewhere, everything I do, think and dream of is recorded. I just hope that nobody will use it against me.”(48)
Doesn't that all sound wonderful? Willkommen, human drones and archetypal Gen Zedders (admittedly a creation of those of us that came before). A life of aimless leisure, no longer burdened by any sense of purpose. No possessions, no money, no privacy. Every aspect of life controlled by Big Brother, the same one that currently has its foot on our collective throat. What could possibly go wrong?
Just in case we aren't all wholly enamored of their version of Paradise, the cabal is prepared to cattle prod us in the desired direction. The latest abomination is in the field of personal autonomy (as ever), our vehicles. Not content with 15 minute cities and ULEZ, the cabal is going one step further. The EU is in the vanguard, not for the first time and, while the detail of the whistle-blower testimony has yet to be fully verified, it is reflective of both the character of the autocrats and other initiatives that are confirmed to be ongoing.
The contention is that the German insurance industry is testing and implementing a number of pilot projects. In no particular order; within ten years, it will be impossible to insure older cars. Only new, electric, digitalised cars will be permitted. These cars will be online 24/7 and the insurance premium that is paid will be capable of real-time adjustment. If the insurers are unhappy with your driving style, the premium goes up. If you drive at night-time, the premium goes up. The more passengers, the more weight – the premium goes up. If you don't pay the premium, the car is switched off.
There will be a fully integrated breathalyzer; fail the test and the car will not start. Lifestyle choices (the food you eat, the places you visit, smoking, drinking etc) will be collated via a Digital ID which is linked to your bank account and, once more, if they don't approve, the premium goes up. What's more, a 'politically exposed person' – that would be you and me, because wrong-think is all that is required to attain that status – will only need to have a suspected 'case' outstanding in order to justify their car being switched off remotely. And, due to the RFID chip in the digital driving licence, they won't be getting into any other cars, either.(49)
Does that all sound too much? Let's consider the evidence. We already know that the EU is going down this route; Driver Monitoring Systems are to go into effect in 2026 (50) and new cars in the EU now come with speed limiters.(51) They are also finding ever more devious ways to confiscate vehicles via 'end-of-life' directives and then scrap them.(52) The US has gone even further (furtively, naturally) and passed legislation that will mandate kill switches on all new vehicle.(53) Ruling elites want to phase out petrol and diesel vehicles by 2035, anyway. In fact, according to CNN, any sort of travel is part of the problem and 'carbon passports' are part of the answer:
“The tourism sector generates around one-tenth of the greenhouse gas emissions that are driving the climate crisis. The negative impacts of tourism on the environment have become so severe that some are suggesting drastic changes to our travel habits are inevitable. In a report from 2023 that analyzed the future of sustainable travel, tour operator Intrepid Travel proposed that “carbon passports” will soon become a reality if the tourism industry hopes to survive.”(54)
What utter drivel. But they still don't want us in electric vehicles, no matter what they say. A digital car will be beyond the means of many current car-owners and governments' commitment to all things electric is unserious. By way of an example, the US Congress authorized $7.5 billion to build tens of thousands of charging stations. That was in 2021; to date, not a single charger has been constructed.(55) The same paucity of supply is evident across the whole of the West. Electric transportation is a chimera – it was never meant to work.
But Net Zero won't be dislodged easily. Members of Western governments
“...actively prefer to live in complete cognitive dissonance rather than confront what they know in their hearts: that they are pursuing unfeasible and internally contradictory policies.”(56)
Even the Royal Society in the UK (as establishment as they come) are on the record as sceptics, pointing out that batteries can only store a fraction of the energy that is needed to support the grid when the wind fails to blow.(57) In the Net Zero fantasy world, the bitterly cold weather of the past week or so would have killed thousands.
“Even when the wind is blowing, this growing subsidy covers barely 5% of total U.K. energy, since the grid only accounts for 25% of consumed energy. Last week’s dismal contribution brought that down to almost zero.”(58)
But the British taxpayer will pay £100 billion in subsidies over the next six years to support renewables, nonetheless.(59) And the IMF wants countries to impose a carbon tax to punish those that have the temerity to consume energy.(60) This, despite the fact that, as the COP28 President from the UAE put it last week, there is no science supporting the call to phase out fossil fuels.(61) That's because there is no evidence that humanity's emissions of CO2 have anything to do with the climate. But, if any such connection could ever be demonstrated, we should give ourselves a pat on the back; we are still at historically low levels of atmospheric CO2 and would benefit hugely if we were able to double it.
If we were truly in danger of 'runaway global warming', as the alarmists like to claim, would nearly a hundred thousand of the great and the good have descended upon Dubai for COP28, creating a vast carbon footprint? Would the football World Cup have been played, with millions of fans flying to Qatar? Would we be looking forward to next year's Olympic Games? Surely, if the crisis is that urgent, all of those events should have been cancelled. But they weren't, because the entire narrative is a charade.
The Biden administration, a leading proponent of decarbonisation, is exporting record volumes of hydrocarbons. US production of crude oil in September was 13.2 million barrels a day; an all-time record.(62) Seaborne crude oil, mostly to Europe and Asia, is 18% up on last year and four times the level in 2017.(63) The question again – would that be allowed to happen if we were truly teetering on the precipice?
Data purporting to show a warming earth are routinely revealed to be fraudulent.(64) And, as noted, two-thirds of the over-thirties do not want to abolish the use of fossil fuels, and yet every Western government is hell bent on doing exactly that. The Americans and 56 others nations are vowing to shut down all coal plants,(65) but there is no plan to replace the lost energy. Nuclear power could certainly do so but, predictably, our rulers are dragging their feet.(66)
The only light in the darkness is the belated realization by MEPs that they are allowed to veto Commission projects, a course of action that they embarked on this week when voting down another ruinous scheme to limit the use of pesticides.(67) But at what point are we going to do something about the tiny little discrepancy between our views and the views of our 'leaders'?
Perhaps, reticence seems to be the only sensible option. It can seem difficult to keep up with all the subjects that must be avoided if one is to render an honest opinion and the censorship regime now has teeth. Instead of a little light doxxing and othering, spending time in a fine, government-run institution is now another option. Howard Donald, of Take That, liked some 'problematic' tweets back in June of this year, one of which was “only women have periods” and the band was immediately cancelled.(68) Incidentally, 'problematic' suffers from the same disease as 'controversial'; it is subjectivity pretending to be objectivity.
Douglass Mackey, on the other hand, was sentenced to seven months in prison for posting an ad online (purportedly from the Hillary campaign) which included the words “Avoid the Line. Vote from Home” and a text number.(69) He is currently appealing the sentence. A former police officer in the UK may find himself in a similar position, yet his actions weren't even public – there were in a private whatsapp group. And his conviction wasn't for the meme itself, but for what the judge ruled was a clear intent to offend.(70) This is not a one-off; another former police officer served 20 weeks for posting 'grossly offensive' George Floyd memes in private whatsapp and Facebook groups.(71)
The ubiquitous 'hate crime' is the root of most of the madness, as the legislation that created this offence places the onus on the offended, rather than on the 'offender's' intent:
“People in the UK are routinely investigated and sometimes charged by police for “hate crimes” that have become so broad, anyone form a minority group who claims they were offended is enough for authorities to treat and record it as a “hate incident.””(72)
The Irish are going still further. The Government is introducing new legislation that will see individuals liable for two years imprisonment for the possession of literature which is judged to be “likely to incite violence or hatred” against others on the grounds of a number of protected characteristics, including race, gender and sexual orientation.
“So the new statute is twice removed from the proper province of criminal law: you don’t have to commit violence against anyone, nor do you need to try to incite violence against anyone. You just need to be in possession of written materials that have the potential to incite, not just violence, but “hatred.””(73)
It's not difficult to see how this new power will be used, given the enthusiasm with which the progressives are imbued. It will target anyone who does not subscribe to all the intersectional, woke bullshit that infects every Western society. That intention can be inferred from the inclusion of the word 'gender'; in the real world, there are two biological sexes and 'gender' is a redundant construct. But, as we know to our cost, wokesters don't live in the real world and neither will anyone who falls foul of this law; they'll be getting three square meals and a shared cell for a decent interval – pour encourager les autres.
The French ruling class is charting a similar course, with a characteristic mix of arrogance and misdirection. Ostensibly, the bill is “aimed at strengthening the fight against sectarian excesses”,(74) which one might suppose had something to do with the religious sectarianism that the same ruling class have inflicted upon the populace due to their obsession with open borders. Instead, it's an attempt to outlaw dissenting opinions around the official healthcare narrative (think the 'pandemic' orthodoxy of lock-downs et al) and enshrine the experts' opinions as absolute truths:
“Article 4 [ ] creates a new crime from provocation to the abandonment or to the abstention of care or to the adoption of [a] practice of which it is manifest that will expose the person targeted to a serious or immediate risk for his health can be punished with one year of imprisonment and 15,000 euros of fine.”(75)
The example used is that of a religious sect refusing cancer treatment for its members but, as with much other legislation, the vagueness of the text will allow a much wider interpretation. The UN is also anxious to make its presence felt. A proposed treaty aimed at combating cybercrime is currently morphing into a surveillance treaty, with bad actors attempting to expand the treaty's remit to “cover practically any offense imaginable where a computer was involved, both at home and abroad.”(76)
The latest draft broadens its scope beyond cybercrimes and includes a long list of non-cyber crimes that would also be covered.(77) It should be remembered that the UN is the global entity most committed to pushing the climate hoax and is also behind attempts to suborn national sovereignty via the WHO's proposed Pandemic Treaty and amendments to the International Health Amendments.
Even without the coming storm detailed above, we are already in uncharted territory. Legislation has effectively criminalized what used to be mainstream Christian beliefs. A baker can be convicted of unlawful discrimination for refusing to make a wedding cake for a gay couple and then be forced to spend three years of his life in taking the case to the Supreme Court before finding justice.(78) And when the law is silent, the woke corporate world is move than willing to put the boot in instead. A Catholic farmer defended traditional Catholic values while criticizing Pride Month in the following terms:
“The push to have every mainstream value and holiday represented in some way in our Louisiana ought to make no sense at all to any Louisianais or Louisianaise, unless recognized as a forward offensive by an ever-encroaching enemy that has sought for generations to destroy our unique culture which is so intimately tied to our Catholic identity.”(79)
Shortly thereafter, he lost two thirds of his customers (two commercial enterprises), who decided that they had had enough of Catholicism. We all know of many more 'hot button' subjects – race, victimhood, identity politics among them. The right to disagree with toxic narratives is being rapidly eroded by the narcissists and sociopaths who people our ruling classes and who attempt to also control the public square. Once again, when is enough enough? When do we upend the matrix and dismember the narratives that are oppressing us?
That question would instantly prompt one to search for a political solution. In fact, we might find solace in the fact that the Right is making gains everywhere one looks. Meloni in Italy last year, the AfD in Germany, in Switzerland, Sweden, Austria, Slovakia, Greece, Finland, Belgium and, of course, with the election of Milei in Argentina and Wilders' victory in the Netherlands. However, that particular bag is considerably more mixed than most would hope and the Empire has a hatful of ploys that need to be neutralize before any meaningful change can occur.
It isn't just the identity of the incumbent that needs to be right; the systemic issues that need to be addressed are deeply entrenched and many-headed and are not amenable to reform. The tactics that are employed in the maintenance of the ruling class hegemony are also highly effective and are deployed by individuals who won't simply go away when a conservative achieves power. And, as we know to our cost, 'conservatives' cannot always be relied upon to be ideologically faithful, often because they were always Fifth Columnists or because the term 'conservative' itself has been hopelessly corrupted.
The entire apparatus that has been erected so that we might be ruled over and effectively enslaved will not allow itself to be rapidly taken apart. Therefore, it may well be that, rather than a scalpel, a wrecking ball should be our implement of choice. It's happened before (empires do not enjoy a reputation for going quietly) and it may need to happen again. This subject will be the topic of my next offering. In the meantime, we would be well advised to confront reality.
The cabal is actively pursuing depopulation (code for genocide), is attempting to impoverish those of that remain, is deliberately importing migrants who do not share our values (thus forcing us to accept the proposition that we will one day become strangers in our own lands), is forcing us to acknowledge narratives that are patently absurd and is punishing those of us who tell it where to get off. We know what the globalist endgame is, because they've told us and they are in the process of making it happen – complete control of the rest of us. It might not be five to midnight yet, but it isn't far off. So, again, when is enough enough? And, if we can rouse ourselves to action at some point soon, what comes next?
